Abstract

This article looks at the development of globalization in terms of its conceptual contestation, theoretical development, and social practices. This is mapped out in relation to the social and economic impact of health and well being of nation states populations across the globe. Examples of globalization such as privatisation of pensions has an impact on aging populations in terms of insecurity and well-being.
